New Haven Unified School District (NHUSD)

The New Haven Unified School District uses English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) which measures English proficiency of students in grades K-12 students, when it’s not their primary language and takes the place of the California English Language Development Test (CELDT). The Union City Family Center provides an innovative community school model. As the anchor organization for over 40 regional partners, they support newcomer families to provide an integrated system of care.
