Pangea Legal Services believes that everyone has the right to move and resettle around the world with dignity and respect. Pangea provides full-scope legal representation to immigrants in both detained and non-detained immigration court proceedings. Pangea's services are pro-bono or low-bono, and their clients are newcomers and long-term residents in the United States. Their services focus on providing representation in the area of deportation defense; approximately 80% of their clients are in deportation proceedings. Pangea represents detained immigrants in bond proceedings, removal hearings, and in encounters with ICE and asylum officials. Pangea is dedicated to making high-quality legal services more accessible to immigrant communities. Pangea also strives to build a community-led deportation defense model that does more than provide high-quality representation.
