Upwardly Global has a mission to eliminate employment barriers for immigrant and refugee populations, including advancement of their skills into the U.S. economy. Upwardly Global provides employment assistance and job search skills training for recently arrived immigrant and refugee professionals to the US who have full work authorization.
Rapid enrollment in their services
Afghan evacuees whose status is pending processing can benefit from our job search training while they wait—enroll your clients without delay by referring to this eligibility checklist and then having them fill out our online intake form.
Special introductions to employers
Upwardly Global works with their 50+ corporate partners to give newly arriving Afghans who join their free program a leg up in the job search process, including unique opportunities to meet with Amazon and other corporate recruiters in need of professional hires.
Free certification opportunities
There are 100% free or scholarship-based courses and certifications from top-tier providers in IT, computer programming, project management, and many more, so newly arriving Afghans can start building in-demand skills without delay and at no cost.
Professional licensing assistance
Upwardly Global is able to assist medical practitioners, engineers, accountants, and other licensed professionals navigate state licensing, obtain degree verification, and strategize their interim job search
