Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus (Advancing Justice-ALC)
Founded in 1972, Advancing Justice-ALC is the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization serving the low-income Asian and Pacific Islander American communities. In California, with a special focus on the Bay Area, we bring together legal services, community empowerment, and policy advocacy to fight for immigrant justice, economic security, and a stronger democracy. As a founding member of the Asian Americans Advancing Justice affiliation, we also advance national policies and legal strategies on community-based solutions to racist hate and violence, the freedom to vote, and race-conscious college admission, and much more.
